iHobo
The iHobo app was developed and designed to raise awareness and challenge the pejorative stereotype of homeless people. It's easy to ignore a homeless person on a street corner, but after a virtual one has lived on your phone for three days, you'll find out that just giving loose change isn't a solution. That's why organisations who provide accommodations like Depaul UK are needed to help young people to get their life back on track.
We're confident that we've developed the world's most successful charity iPhone app. iHobo has been downloaded over 600,00 times reaching the top of the Apple App Store charts.
Two weeks after launch, iHobo was generating over £6,000 in text message donation, generating a massive amount of interest, and receiving national and international press coverage. iHobo generated a number of impressions, that achieved in a more traditional way, would be worth an estimated £1,600,000 (impressions - media equivalent).
Others have also recognised our success. The charity app was voted as a finalist in the Use of Digital Media category as part of the Third Sector Excellence Awards. In October 2010 iHobo won two awards in the 'Not for Profit' and the 'Direct' categories at the Blade awards.

Recycle Guide
Working closely with T-Mobile and Valpak we've designed and developed Recycle Guide -- an Android app that integrates the UK's largest recycling site database, in a joint effort to reduce waste and protect the environment. As a user of the app you can receive tips on how to recycle, links to useful recycling websites and can keep track of what you have recycled.
The application harnesses the power of social networking -- users can pledge to recycle certain amounts of waste, and can then share their promises with friends.
After extensive testing, the Recycle Guide was launched receiving overwhelmingly positive comments with 5 star reviews, and thousands of downloads and continued users. Recycle Guide was the first application T-Mobile has launched in the UK, receiving over 2,000 downloads within the first week. Additionally, the app Increased hits to Recycle-More partner websites by 20 percent.
The app has been chosen as on of the top 20 'Green Apps' by Dial-a-Phone experts, and has received a lot of buzz within the recycling blogosphere.
On a corporate level T-Mobile's and Valpak's app continues to helps over 3,000 large and small UK businesses to comply with the recycling legislation.
